Project Somos Children’s Village is a nurturing community 7000 ft up in the mountains in Guatemala. Somos was built for at-risk mothers and children from the local town of Tecpan. What initially started as an orphan prevention program supporting widowed and single mothers who are at risk of losing their children due to poverty and difficult living situations has now become a community and a safe place for many more.

 

This entire project has been built by amazing souls that took the time to do amazing things for not themselves, but others.

 

This project is changing many lives. Each visitor will return from this life-changing adventure filled with love, gratitude, and compassion The possibilities are endless when it comes to giving back and the impact visitors have on the children is boundless.
